1. Animated Sticker Pack:
The animated sticker pack has recently added in the Stickers Tab section of WhatsApp. Although this feature has been working for long now with several Beta updates. If you are using a beta version of the messenger then you might have used it. Soon this feature will be rolling out for the stable version as well. Here's how you can access this:
Step1. Open your Whatsapp messenger.
Step2. Click on the emoji icon in the type section.
Step3. Click on the add more stickers icon.
Step4. Select the new "Playful Piyomaru" animated sticker pack.
Step5. Download the Sticker pack and you can use it right away.
2. Contact QR Code:
The all-new feature to add Whatsapp contacts without asking their phone number. Now, you can add contacts by simply scanning the Contact QR Code in the QR Code option in Settings at the top right corner of your profile name. There you get two options, first MY CODE to view yours, and second is SCAN CODE to scan other's contact QR code.
3. Dark Mode for WhatsApp Web:
WhatsApp has already been launched the most awaited Dark Mode feature for the Android and iOS users, the popular messaging app has also launched the Dark Mode feature to their Desktop version and WhatsApp Web. You can enable it in the same way by going to the Settings menu and thereby selecting the Theme option, there you will find the two modes, Light and Dark.
4. Improved Video & Voice Calls:
Due to the current lockdown and novel coronavirus pandemic, most of the companies have told their employees to operate from homes as Work From Home scenario. WhatsApp has updated its video call feature, you can maximize a particular participant's video to the full screen by just tapping on the participant's call. Now, it is also supporting Group Video and Voice calls up to 8 participants.
